Living Your Best Life?A Work In Progress For A "Fab" Woman
Share
Recently in the news Einsteins note about "Happy Living" sold for 1.56 million and it intrigued me... what exactly did this note say?
"A quiet and modest life brings more joy than a pursuit of success bound with constant unrest."
This caused me to question my pursuits in regards to how I define success. Now to be totally honest I haven't fallen into amnesia and have totally renounced my devilish ways.
I am a repeat offender in the feeling that I am not moving fast enough or accomplishing enough.
My friends and family say I'm a serial job changer. This is true as it seems every 2 years hits at a company I question if "the challenge is adequate"
I'm not sure where this dissatisfaction comes from ..definitely can't blame my parents as they were happy working class people (except for the divorce)
I'm not envious of others who have more, yet I yearn to feel that I have lived and am living my best life..
Often on my way to work I consider my death and what will happen next...(no I'm not morbid)... I wonder if I will be missed by my son who is now married with a young son and I contemplate how the world will keep going as if I had never existed.
So what does a young "Fit Fine and Fabulous" woman do?
I constantly remind myself to live in the now and its also the reason why I started my online business.
I have started to curate what I watch on TV and minimize watching the news These just feed into my subconscious and help to create the lust of needing more and fearing the world is leaving me behind somehow
I am starting to accept my imperfections as a human and a woman while also loving the imperfections in my partner of 17 years and those whom I hold close to my heart.
I cant say this is the way to go on the other hand it keeps me living a conscious life on my own terms.
What is working for you?
